01On this site

• Your choices (the app you picked, your colors, the name you typed) are saved in your own browser so you can come back later. They are not sent to us.
• Finding an app for what you wrote. When our word list finds no app for the annoying thing you typed in step 1, those words are sent to our server once to look for apps with a similar meaning. This runs on Cloudflare Workers AI. The words are used for that one search and are not stored, logged or linked to you.
• Your license key is sent to our server when you enter it, so we can check it with Lemon Squeezy and open what you paid for. We don't keep a list of keys or who used them. Your key is also saved in your browser so you stay signed in to your purchase.
• Counting visits. We count how many visits reach each step (for example, how many people open step 5 or start a Test drive), so we can make the site better. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics and a simple counter on our server. Neither uses cookies, and neither records who you are or what you type.
• We don't use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
• Test drive runs your app in your own browser. Nothing you type in it is sent to us or kept.
• Finish on my phone puts your app choices in a link for you to open on another device. The link isn't sent to us.

02When you buy

Lemon Squeezy handles checkout as our merchant of record. They collect your name, email, payment details and billing country to take payment, handle tax and send your receipt and key. We can see your order details (name, email, what you bought) in our Lemon Squeezy account so we can help you. Card details stay with Lemon Squeezy and their payment partners. 03In the apps you build

Everything you write in your app is saved on the device it runs on. It is not sent to us or to anyone else. If you clear your browser data or lose your phone, the entries are gone unless you made a backup with Download backup.

• If you put your app online with us (Put my app online), we keep your app's page on our server: its name, boxes, colors and icon, plus a scrambled form of your license key so only you can update it. Your entries are not part of it. To have a published app removed, email us.
• If you move your entries to another phone (Move to another phone), they are locked (encrypted) on your phone before they leave it. Our server holds only the locked copy and deletes it once the other phone has opened it, or after 15 minutes at most. The key to unlock it is in the code you see, and it never reaches us.

04Services we rely on

• Cloudflare hosts this site and keeps short-term technical logs, such as IP addresses, to keep it safe and running.
• Google Fonts delivers the fonts on this site and in your apps, so your browser connects to Google to load them.
• Lemon Squeezy takes payments and checks license keys.

05Email

If you email us, we use your email only to answer you. We don't send newsletters.

06Your choices and rights

You can clear what this site saved in your browser at any time in your browser settings. To ask about your order data, or to have it corrected or deleted, email us. Depending on where you live, you may have extra rights, for example under the GDPR in Europe or state privacy laws in the US, and we'll honor them.

07Children

Make It Appy is for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.

08Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top.
